About J. J. Frank

The worlds, monsters, and maps were always there. They just needed somewhere to go.

J. J. Frank always wanted to design video games: whole worlds, monsters, maps, and the kids brave enough to explore them. The coding never quite clicked, so the ideas went onto paper instead.

Gray Hollow is the result: the spooky, bike-riding, flashlight-in-the-woods adventure J. J. wished existed growing up. The series so far includes Gray Hollow: Book One, The Lost Tapes, and The Betrayal.

J. J. writes for readers 11 and up, and for the grown-ups who still remember being 11.
